Finally tried this out, from a gameplay standpoint i have no major complaints so far. The arenas play how i expected them to and are a lot of fun.
Biggest complaint from me is the asteroid skybox on every map. That's stupid. It looks tacky and weird. Keep the skyboxes natural for what the map is ...

The 'only two map extends in a row' limit is kinda stupid, just wastes everyone's time during the longer EU seeding phases. Had to rtv back to mge twice while seeding today.
I'd rather have the auto mapchange player limit be lowered to something like 8 or even lower instead.

I have enabled the pre dec 2010 variant of the natscha and have disabled the cleaners carbine revert.

This will very likely be the last set of reverts I touch before hopefully freezing the plugin (or at least our config) indefinitely. Every other weapon seems to be in a pretty good spot. So let's ...

Also I don't like the new Natascha change, it now feels very niche without the damage resistance and I barely notice any differenc with the new slow effect.
I would much rather have the 20% damage resistance when spun up rather than a little bit better slow effect.

I've added a custom mge map created by @Kvasorob (how do you tag people in this software?) named mge_castaway_v1 to specifically Virginia 2 . If there are no issues and it runs smoothly it will be added to other relevant servers.

Are teletraps something you would be willing to revert? Back in the day you could place teleport entrance on top of the exit and trap yourself (and anyone else who used the teleporter). If you were using the wrangler this allowed you to build momentum by shooting yourself with a sentry and after ...

I added a handler plugin which I think should solve the issue. I won't be adding mge to all servers until I'm sure this works.

If time allows I'm going to try and, in the next few days, update the plugins so that an RTV is automatically called once a certain threshold of players is reached, then I can put mge on all servers.

I was against MGE on all servers because i think it sort of undermines their VANILLA, stock tf2 nature, my idea was that VA2 was going to be a sort of more "experimental" server where we could try something like MGE or DM while all the other servers stayed fully stock TF2.

In my opinion it'd be best to take the top 2 maps that we like from each gamemode (that actually can be mge-ified, harvest is a bad example for instance) and add them in. I've implemented this on Virginia 2 only. There is a MGE map, which can be nominated infinitely (it never enters the "played recently" pool) and the MGEmod plugin activates only on that map. There are currently no player count restrictions on when you can nominate it, nor does it get swapped off ...

For those interested in MGE, if we could only have one map what would the ideal one be? I have a good way to get it so it's only in rotation on virginia 2 but I am not too familiar with mge maps. mge_training_v8_beta4b seems to be the one that gets run most frequently from what I can see

If the plugin does interfere it wouldn't be terribly hard to just convert it into a vscript mge map which would work completely on it's own without plugins.

Pride Rock: D, below average 5cp map. Second is right next to mid, but last is far from second. Jump pads are used to make up for deficits in level design. I love the aesthetics but it doesn't play well

Figured out the problem, new custom maps are in rotation now. Silly mistake on my end, the maps weren't actually being downloaded to the server.
